Dogs, cats and more. Trailwaggers 2009 again helped the animals of Berks County, including the Humane Society of Berks County, Animal Rescue League of Berks County and One By One Cat Rescue, Kutztown.  Trailwaggers 2009 raised $3000 for the needy paws of Berks County! 

On Monday, January 18, 2010, the HSBC and ARL of Berks were each presented with $1000 check.   In addition to the raised funds, each organization received approximately 100 donated items (including toys, jackets, sweaters and more) from a very kind pet product manufacturer. Saturday, January 30, One By One Cat Rescue was presented with their $1000 and donated items as well.

Trailwaggers is a non-profit group working under the Promotion Team of Kutztown Community Partnership. This year's event was sponsored by Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic; Shirley Lutz, NP; O'Keefe and Sher, PC; Eagle Point Property Management; The Bark on Main; and Colasanti Printworks. The goal of Trailwaggers is to raise funds for the needy paws of Berks County through yearly events. Trailwaggers 2009 events included: HollyWoof Red Carpet event – held at the Kutztown Strand, on Sunday, October 4, Trailwagger's Dogwalk - held in Kutztown Park on October 11; and Pet Photos with Santa on December 6 at The Bark on Main. 

Checks were presented to each organization by Kutztown Community Partnership's promotion chair, Kim Davis who also owns The Bark on Main. Thank you to everyone who helped make 2009 Trailwaggers a success! The 2010 Trailwagger Dogwalk is scheduled for October 17, 2010.
