Trailwaggers is helping the animals of Berks County, including the Humane Society of Berks County, Animal Rescue League of Berks County and One By One Cat Rescue. Trailwaggers 2007 raised $3000 for the needy paws of Berks County! On Wednesday, February 20, 2008, each organization was presented with a $1000 check.

Trailwaggers is a non-profit group working under the Promotion Team of Kutztown Community Partnership and sponsored by The Bark on Main, Citizen's Bank and Colasanti Printworks. The goal of Trailwaggers is to raise funds for the needy paws of Berks County through yearly events. Trailwaggers 2007 events included: Putt for Paws - which was held at Sittler's Golf Center on August 12, 2007; Trailwagger's Dogwalk - held in Kutztown Park on October 14, 2007; and Pet Photos with Santa on December 2, 2007 at the Kutztown Train Station. Thank you to everyone who helped make 2007 Trailwaggers a success!

Checks were presented to each organization by Kutztown Mayor Sandy Green representing Kutztown Community Partnership; Karen Stetler from Citizen's Bank - Kutztown branch; and Kim Davis owner of The Bark on Main.

The 2008 Trailwagger fundraising season kicked off with a 2007 year end auctiontacks of donated items from NASCAR drivers and teams. Special thanks sent out to NASCAR individuals and groups for supporting all paws in need.
